Text Box: The bedroom has exceptionally comfortable twin beds which are normally pushed together for couples but can easily be separated for 2 friends.  There is a duvet and bolster with freshly laundered, cotton sheets on each bed. You will find blankets and extra pillows in the top of the wardrobe.

Text Box: The fitted kitchen has work surfaces of Brazilian marble and is fitted with a ceramic hob, microwave/grill, fridge and comprehensive range of kitchen-ware including kettle, toaster, pots, teapot, cafetiere and ‘tools’. The  2 - bedroom apartment also has an oven and dishwasher.

Text Box: Apart from your private sitting room there is also a communal 'salón'. This has 2 levels – a mezzanine where you can sit and read or practise your Spanish with the tapes and books provided or watch television on the large TV and DVD player. On the main floor there is further comfortable seating and an impressive and very efficient wood-burning stove for winter times. Here you will find bookshelves full of maps and reference books on anything from flowers to birds to trees and animals. There are also books on walks and climbing etc. together with 2 fat folders of local information mostly provided by those who have been here and done it. This friendly room is the hub of Olmares – used by everyone to plan the day ahead or exchange information and compare notes.

                            Inside The Apartments

Text Box: In each apartment the sitting-room area moves back into a tiled floor area with dining room table, chairs and kitchen. The dining room table was made to our own design using timbers from antique grain boxes in the Manor House. The bathroom has a heated towel rail, bath with shower attachment, w.c. and sink. The shower has a shower door, thermostatic controls and is power assisted so you can have a satisfying strong shower should you so wish. We provide soft bath towels and hand towels. If you are staying for 2 weeks or more we will provide you with a completely fresh set of linen for each following week. We do not provide beach towels. The apartments are centrally heated. You control this yourself or leave it on the pre-set clock – as you wish.  There is copious running hot and cold water whenever you need it. Tap water is generally drinkable but in the hot season (June, July, August and September) we recommend you buy bottled water. Up the stone stairway in the central courtyard is the laundry room. There is a bank of washing machines, a tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. Outside the door to the laundry room is the drying area with several lines which are conveniently situated over the hot water pipes in the floor for easy drying. When you move into your apartment you will find everything you need - breakfast for your first morning, cleaning materials and bathroom soaps etc. just like in a good hotel. In the near future we will be providing internet connection, either in the comunal sitting room or in each individual apartment. The apartments are not suitable for young children. Children over 12 are welcome in the large apartment.   Please telephone or e-mail for further information.
